The Construction Works Under The Project Envisage The Construction Of 4 Internal Corridors Of The Circular Track And All 6 Corridors Of The Straight Athletics Track, Incl. Construction Of A Linear Drain On The Track And The Site Water Supply. Currently, The Surface Of The Track Is Highly Damped, With Cracks, Unevenness And Impaired Drainage. Existing Marker Lines Have Been Obliterated And In Some Areas The Underlying Stratum Has Been Compromised. This Makes It Difficult To Carry Out Training Activities, Creates Prerequisites For Injuries And Does Not Allow Competitions To Be Held. The Aim Of The Project Is The Modernization Of The Sports Base With The Aim Of Improving The Sports Infrastructure In The City Of Pirdop, Creating Conditions For Holding Competitions In Football, Athletics, Etc., Improving Access To Sports For Children, Students And Citizens, Stimulating An Active And Healthy Lifestyle, As Well As Creating Opportunities To Attract Sports Events Of A Regional And National Nature.
