The Municipal Health Department Of Puerto Montt, Within The Framework Of Its Functions Of Safeguarding Public Health And Maintaining Adequate Sanitary Conditions In Its Healthcare And Administrative Facilities, Requires Contracting The Derating Service For The Establishments Dependent On The Municipal Health Department Of Puerto Montt. The Purpose Of The Service Is To Prevent, Control And Eliminate The Presence Of Rodents, Reducing The Health, Epidemiological And Environmental Contamination Risks That They Represent, Safeguarding The Safety Of Users, Officials And The General Public, As Well As The Integrity Of Medications, Clinical Supplies, Food And Existing Equipment In The Establishments. Considering That Health Establishments Constitute Critical Facilities From A Health Point Of View, The Required Service Must Be Executed Under A Preventive, Systematic And Permanent Approach, Guaranteeing Continuous Surveillance And Control Of Vectors Throughout The Contractual Period, And Not Only Corrective Actions Against Detected Infestations. These Technical Bases Establish The Conditions, Operational Characteristics, Technical Requirements And Minimum Standards That The Awarded Supplier Must Meet For The Correct And Safe Provision Of The Service. This Tender Will Be Evaluated Globally And Awarded To A Single Supplier, Who Must Ensure Full Coverage Of The Included Establishments, Throughout The Duration Of The Contract, Maintaining Operational Continuity Of The Service.
