The Assignment Concerns The Raising And Redesigning Of Middenmolenlaan And The Redesigning And Greening Of The Adjacent Middenmolenplein In The Goverwelle District In Gouda. The Reason For The Project Is Ground Level Subsidence And Flooding During Heavy Rainfall, In Combination With Policy Objectives In The Areas Of Road Safety, Climate Adaptation And Greening Of Public Spaces. Middenmolenlaan Will Be Raised, Provided With An Enlarged Gravity Rainwater Drainage System And Redesigned As A 30 Km/H Road. Middenmolenplein Will Be Redesigned And Made Greener By Applying Water-Infiltrating Paving, Green Areas And Improved Accommodation Facilities.
