General Procurement Notice for Enhance the Resilience of Landscapes and Communities, Improve Biodiversity and Food Security, and Reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions from Land-Use, Land Use Change and Forestry, through Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). The Specific Objectives Include: (I) Enhancing Biodiversity and Natural Capital Benefits; (Ii) Improving Resilience of Participating Smallholder Farmers and Pastoral Communities; And (Iii) Increasing Agricultural and Forestry Production and Productivity. a. Component 1 - Restoration and sustainable management of degraded ecosystems Sub-component 1.1 Participatory land use planning Sub-component 1.2 Restoration of degraded communal landscape b. Component 2 - Scaling up climate-smart agricultural practices Sub-component 2.1 Promoting agroforestry, efficient water use and soil health s. Sub-component 2.2 Improving agricultural production and productivity. c. Component 3 - Promoting inclusive, sustainable livelihoods and value chains Sub-component 3.1 strengthening/establishing cooperatives and women and youth led Agri-micro, small and medium enterprises. Sub-component 3.2 promoting value chain development and market linkage. d. Component 4 - Project management and capacity building. Sub-component 4.1 Project Coordination.
