The Ministry Invites Proposals From Firms Specializing In Aerial Photography For Acquiring Digital Frame Camera Imagery Over The Bulkley, Golden Timber Supply Area (“Tsa”), Golden Tsa And Kispiox Tsa, Bc. The Objective Of The Project Is To Capture And Geo-Reference Aerial Imagery And To Create Products For Vegetation Resource Inventory (“Vri”) Forest Inventory Mapping.The Contractor Will Be Required To Capture Digital Aerial Imagery Of The Bulkley, Golden And Kispiox Tsas At A Ground Sampling Distance (“Gsd”) Of 25 Cm With Direct Or Indirect Geo-Referencing Methods In The Nad83/Cgvd2013 Datum And Create Spatial Mapping Products As They Relate To The Vri Program.The Contractor Will Manage The Acquisition, Quality Control And Delivery Of Aerial Imagery, Stereo Models, Orthometric Corrected Imagery, And Related Geospatial Products.Recently, The Province Has Purchased Services Related To Those Contemplated For The Project (Defined Below) At An Approximate Rate Of $0.26 Per Hectare. The Province Expects That Relatively Similar Rates Should Be Applicable For The Work Contemplated To Complete The Project.The Ministry Strongly Recommends That Proponents Review A Data Package That The Province Has Prepared To Inform Proposals.
