Tenders are invited for Pitching Delivery Consultancy - Clyntech Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. Through the Clyntech Accelerator Program, startups received support to develop and validate their product or service, build their commercial foundations, and test their business model with early adopters. Having completed the Acceleration phase, the startups now entering the Incubator are focused on scaling their business and preparing for investment. The Clyntech Incubator Programs mission is to support early-stage cleantech startups that have completed the Acceleration phase and are ready to scale, by equipping them with the foundations needed to become investment-ready. The startups supported share three common characteristics: A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the Clean-tech sector. A validated product or service with early traction and the potential to scale beyond the local market. The capacity to attract investment and create sustainable job opportunities locally. Scope of work The Accelerator Program seeks a Pitching Trainer for its Incubation phase to develop and deliver a workshop about delivery of their pitch (in-person) for up to 8 startups and one-on-one sessions. The trainers role is focused on how founders present themselves in front of an audience, their body language, stage presence, storytelling, confidence under pressure, and ability to handle tough investor Q&A. The trainer will be involved across different components: The selected trainer will conduct the below components: 1. Advanced Pitching Workshop (Group Session): This workshop will focus on elevating the startups pitch delivery, helping them master the art of selling their brand effectively in front of investors. It will move beyond the basics and focus on advanced strategies for a powerful, investor-ready pitch. Key areas of the workshop: Tailoring the Pitch to the Audience - Understanding how to adapt delivery style and tone for different types of investors or stakeholders. - Crafting clear, concise messaging that highlights the startups value proposition, key traction points, and competitive advantage tailored to specific investor profiles. Selling the Brand, Not Just the Product - Helping startups present themselves as leaders and their brand as a story, going beyond product or service features, focusing on emotional storytelling. - Building a delivery that leaves a lasting impression and makes the startup memorable. Mastering Confidence and Charisma in Pitching - Training founders to project confidence through their body language, tone of voice, and overall presence. - Techniques for managing stage fright, staying focused under pressure, and using composure to build credibility. - Eye contact, posture, movement, and use of space. Presenting Key Data Effectively - Refining how startups present critical data points (market size, traction, financial projections, business model, and competitive landscape) in a concise and compelling way. - Keeping the audience engaged when presenting numbers and avoiding common delivery pitfalls. Handling Investor Q&A with confidence - Techniques to respond confidently and effectively to tough or unexpected questions. - How to stay calm, buy time, and maintain credibility when challenged. Creating an Engaging Narrative with Structure - Perfecting the structure of their 3-minute pitch to ensure a clear, engaging, and well paced flow from introduction to conclusion. - Guiding startups on how to craft a narrative that captures attention early, builds momentum, and leaves a lasting impression on investors. The workshop is expected to be interactive with live exercises, role-playing, and peer feedback. 2. Pitch Labs & Clinics: Following the group workshop, the trainer will work with startups in smaller groups and individually to practice and refine their delivery in the below formats: Pitch Labs, up to 4 sessions (each session for 4 startups) (2 hours/session in-person). These are structured, hands-on practice sessions where each founder presents their pitch and receives immediate feedback from the trainer and the accelerator team. Teams are expected to refine their pitches on the spot through discussion and iteration. The labs focus on applying the concepts covered in the workshop and supporting continuous improvement in a collaborative group setting. One-on-One Clinics, up to 3 sessions per startup (in Person). Personalized coaching sessions tailored to each founders specific delivery gaps. Key areas covered in the clinics: - Refining the 3-minute pitch delivery for clarity, pacing, and impact. - Elevator pitch coaching: concise, confident, no-slide delivery under 60 seconds. - Personalized feedback on body language, gestures, tone, and presence. - Q&A management: handling post-pitch questions with confidence and composure. Deliverables Workshop Outline and Materials. Delivery of the Advanced Pitching Workshop (4-hour group session, full cohort). Delivery of 4Pitch Labs for 4 startups each. One finalized 3-minute pitch delivery per startup, polished and ready by end of component for 8 startups. One elevator pitch per startup, ready by end of component for 8 startups. Deliver up to 3 one-on-one clinics per startup for 8 startups (total up to 24 sessions). Feedback on the progress of every startup after every one-on-one session. A final report summarizing delivery progress, feedback, and recommendations for each startup. Qualifications At least 7 years of relevant experience in pitching training, public speaking coaching, or performance coaching, with proven experience working with startup founders or executives in high-pressure presentation contexts. Strong practical expertise in body language, vocal delivery, storytelling, and stage presence. Demonstrated experience coaching founders for investor presentations, jury sessions, or competitive pitching events. Understanding of the startup ecosystem, including funding stages and investor expectations. Experience working with non-native English speakers is a strong advantage given the profile of this cohort. Ability to adapt coaching style to different founder profiles (technical founders, introverted presenters, and high-energy speakers alike). Comfortable working within a program structure where pitch content is handled by a separate in-house team. Ability to effectively prepare and deliver interactive, hands-on training sessions.
