Double Contract For The Implementation Of An Active Carbon Filter In The Compact Water Treatment Plant Of The Darnius City Council.Darnius City Council With The Intention Of Complying With Royal Decree 3/2023, And At The Same Time Ensuring Or Guaranteeing The Supply Of Drinking Water To The Population, In 2022 Carried Out Works That Consisted Of Bringing The Water From The Darnius-Boadella Reservoir To The Municipal Deposit. Once There The Potabilization Treatment Consisted Of One: • Physical Decantation Treatment Prior To Utap Entry.• Compact Potabilization Unit Formed By: Or Two Filters With Multilayer Beds (Silica + Granatate + Anthracite) Or Differential Chemical Treatment With Chemical Dosage Of Sodium Hypochlorite (Oxidation), Coagulant (2 Points) And Flocculant In Second Stage, Necessary For Removal Turbidity, Reduction Of Organic Matter. The Works Were Finished In One Shot And Electricity Supply Was Available (End Of 2025), The City Council Has Requested Authorization From The Catalan Water Agency To Use The Water From The Dam Foot, One Shot Treated. This Authorization Has Been Denied, Given That There Has Been A One-Off Episode Of Excess Organic Matter In The Water At The Foot Of The Dam In The Swamp And That Our Compact Water Treatment Plant Is Not Capable Of Removing.
