Work Detail
Monitoring National Monuments In Accordance With National Agreements. Since 2016, All Provinces And The Cultural Heritage Agency (Rce) Have Been Working On Monitoring National Monuments. This Collaboration Is Aimed At Creating A Joint Data Source For Data About The Physical Condition Of National Monuments And Making (Digital) Accessible And (Digital) Unlocking Of (This) Information. In Line With Administrative Agreements Made In 2016, Each Province Is Responsible For Carrying Out Periodic Monitoring Within Its Own Territory. This Means That The Province Of Limburg Is Obliged To Have All Built National Monuments (Non-Residential Houses) In Limburg Assessed Every Four Years For Their State Of Maintenance, Vacancy And Repurposing. This Must Be Done At Object Level, And In Accordance With An Established Implementation Guideline (Url 2006) And A Fixed Set Of Indicators. The Province Of Limburg Must Share The Data Resulting From The Periodic Monitoring With The Rce In Accordance With A Concluded Cooperation Agreement. The Monitoring Data From All Provinces Is Then Made Available At An Aggregated Level On The National Heritage Monitor (Publicly Accessible Dashboard Managed By The Rce). The Limburg Monument Data Is Further Presented In An Online Environment That Can Only Be Consulted By The Province (Provincial Dashboard). This Is Used For Internal Purposes And Mainly In The Context Of (Providing Insight Into) Restoration Tasks. Limburg Monument Data In 2017/2018, An Almost Comprehensive Baseline Measurement Was Carried Out In Limburg. The Vast Majority Of The Monument Data Was Last Updated In 2022. That Is Why The Province Of Limburg Must Again Award A Monitoring Assignment As Of 2026. The Scope Of The Assignment Compared To Previous Assignments Is Expanded From Monitoring Only National Monuments To Monitoring National And Municipal Monuments (Being Non-Residential Buildings). The Supporting Policy Of The Province Of Limburg For Granting Subsidies In The Field Of Urgent Restoration Tasks Has For Some Time Focused On Both National And Municipal Monuments. Expansion Of The Monitoring Scope Is Important To Properly And Uniformly Map Out All Urgent Restoration Tasks In Limburg. This Way Better Implementation Can Be Achieved
