The Building Is Oriented East-West Parallel To The Northernmost Property Line To Allow The Existing School To Remain Operational During Construction And Maintain The Maximum Amount Of Play Area. This Project Involves The Complete Demolition Of All Existing Blocks Once The New School Is Complete. The New School Is Located To Ensure Continuous Operation Of The Existing School During Construction, Thus Avoiding Off-Site Accommodations. The Entire School Would Be Replaced With A New Stand-Alone School. This New School Will Be Constructed With A Light-Weight Structural Steel Frame In Conformance To The Current Building Codes.
