Bids Are Invited For Bugaboo Park - Kain Hut Trail Improvements - Phase 1

Bc Parks Is Seeking Qualified Trail Construction Contractors To Perform Structural Upgrade Works And Other Improvements On The Kain Hut Trail Located In Bugaboo Provincial Park, In Southeast Bc.The Project Involves Trail Repairs And Short Sections Of Trail Re-Location In Mineral Soil Conditions. Additionally, There Are Stone Stairs, Chain Ladders And Rock Retaining Walls That Require “Hard Rock” Trail Construction Expertise To Perform These Improvements.The Project Involves Significant Logistics Such As Coordination With Bc Parks For Limited Helicopter Flights Of Materials And Personnel.The Rfp Will Select A Qualified Trail Building Crew With Demonstrated Experience In The Performance Of Hard Rock Trail Construction Works.The Contractor Will Be Compensated Based On Hourly Rates Submitted For This Proposal.This Opportunity Representes The First Year Of Effort On An Anticipated Multiyear Project.Further Details As To The Scope Of This Opportunity And The Requirements Can Be Found Within This Rfp.
