The Main Purpose Of The Project Is To Replace The Current Eigerøy Bridge With A New Bridge To Be Built Parallel To The South Side Of The Existing One. When The New Bridge Is Finished, The Old One Will Be Demolished. In Addition, A Pedestrian And Cycle Path Will Be Established South Along Hovlandsveien, On Todays National Highway 426. Associated Roads In The Area Will Also Be Upgraded To Ensure An Overall Improvement Of The Infrastructure.
