Tenders are invited for Implementation of Sounding Rockets Batch 1 in e3p Period 4 Considering the scientific priorities for Sounding Rocket Experiments, five experiments selected by ESA through the Exploration Science Announcement of Opportunity (AO-2025-SR) for Sounding Rocket experiments for space- or microgravity-relevant research, are proposed for implementation and launch in 2027 and 2028.The following five experiments are proposed for implementation: CHIP-II: Charges in Planet Formation II;. Re-flight of the CHIP module.LifeACTImm: Unravelling immune cell dysfunction in Space and test of newcountermeasures. Re-flight of the micACTin module with new inserts and additional optical diagnostic.P-REX: Purified Regolith Extracted Volatiles. New module.FERMISE: Fire Experiments and Risk Mitigation for Space Exploration. New module based on the DLR TOPOFLAME module.LAMDA-g: Laser metal wire deposition in absence of gravity; new module.The current proposal covers the Development, Assembly, Integration and Testing (Phase C/D) for the acceptance of the modules listed above. The modules shall include all the specific experiment inserts (where applicable), shall be fully qualified and ready for flight on a Sounding Rocket with a microgravity time of no less than 6 minutes. The proposed activity also includes all the operational tasks of a typical Sounding Rocket launch campaign, namely: module verification, launch and flight operations, module recovery, data distribution, disassembly and return of any specific experiment samples, if applicable (Phase E/F).The overall industrial work is planned to be completed within 36 months, withlaunches of the experiments in 2027 and 2028.
