Construction Work For Water Projects – Dredging Work To Maintain The Fairway Of The Lower Ems And Leda 2026-2028. The Construction Work To Be Carried Out Is Wet Dredging Work (Cargo Suction Dredger) To Maintain And Restore The Required Target Depths And Widths In The Fairway In The Tidal Area Of ​​The Lower Ems From Km 0.0 To 40.7 And The Leda From Km 22.8 To Km 24.85. The Total Performance Includes The Excavation, Transport And Relocation Of Approx. 3.5 Million M³ Of Soil Volume (Surface Measurement). A Proportion Of Approximately 3.0 Million M³ Is To Be Washed Onto Land-Based Deposit Areas. The Remaining Portion Of Approximately 0.6 Million M³ Of Soil Is To Be Dumped Onto The Deposit Areas In The Ems Estuary. The Majority Of The Dredging Masses In The Ems (Approx. 63%) Fall On The Ems-Km 0.0 - 11.0 Section. The Soil To Be Dredged In The Lower Ems And Leda Consists Of Approx. 90% Silt. The Remaining Portion Must Be Declared As Sandy Soil. The Consistency Of The Silt Is Predominantly Mushy To Soft. The Dredging Work Must Be Carried Out In So-Called Dredging Campaigns. The Dredging Campaigns Serve To Temporarily Adjust The Lower Ems (Required Depth) For The Transfer Of New Shipyard Buildings From Papenburg To Emden. Planned Transfer Dates Of The New Shipyard Buildings (Dredging Campaigns 1 To 3), By Which The Depths Must Be Established: S724: Transfer According To The Shipyards Information On March 21, 2027 S723: Transfer According To The Shipyards Information On September 18, 2027 S725: Transfer According To The Shipyards Information On February 13, 2028 A Dredging Campaign Is Permitted Must Be Started At The Earliest 15 Weeks Before A Ship Transfer. The Operating Times Are As Follows: The 1St Dredging Campaign (Campaign 2027-1) Is Scheduled From The Beginning Of December 2026 To Mid-March 2027. The Dredging Volume Will Be Approximately 1,053,750 M³. The 2Nd Dredging Campaign (Campaign 2027-2) Is Scheduled From Mid-June 2027 To Mid-September 2027. The Dredging Volume Will Be Approximately 1,338,750 M³. The 3Rd Dredging Campaign (Campaign 2028-1) Is Scheduled From The Beginning Of November 2027 To Mid-February 2028. The Dredging Volume Will Be Approximately 1,053,750 M³. Immediately Before The Start And/Or After Completion Of A Dredging Campaign, Individual Dredging Operations Of Approx. 30,000 M³ Are Required In The Leda. The Total Dredging Volume Is Approximately 120,000 M³. Since It Is Not Possible To Determine In Advance Whether The Use Of Barges Will Be Necessary Due To The Strongly Fluctuating Morphological Conditions And The Resulting Dredging Volumes, The Use Of Barges Is Advertised As A Required Item. The Requirement Item Is Included In The Price Evaluation Of The Offer.
