The Site To Be Remediated Is Located In The Kerkwijk In Mariakerke (Ghent). There Are Houses To The North And East Of The Site. To The South, Bordering The Site, Is The Rietgracht. The Site Is Located In An Area That Belongs To The Flemish Ecological Network, Being The Valley Of The Benedenleie To Which The Bourgoyen Belongs. The Contamination Comes From A Former Acid Tar Dump That Was Used In The 1960S To Dump Rubble Waste And Acid Tar, A Residual Product Resulting From The Production Of Oil. • The Subject Of The Assignment Is, On The One Hand, The Preparation Of A Soil Remediation Project And Project Eia And, On The Other Hand, The Implementation, Supervision And Safety Coordination Of The Soil Remediation Works Described In This Soil Remediation Project (Including Monitoring And Any Aftercare). • The Remediation Objectives Defined In The Selection Guidelines And The Specifications Must Be Achieved So That The Remediation Can Ultimately Be Completed. The Contractor Therefore Enters Into A Result Obligation With Ovam For This.
