Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Hug - Amo - Opera R Therapeutic Center. The Therapeutic Center Of The University Hospitals Of Geneva (Hug) Brings Together The Activities Of Hospital Pharmaceutical Production, Cell Therapy And The Associated Pharmaceutical Logistics Functions, Essential To The Continuity Of The Drug Supply To The Hospital Site. Located Mainly On The R Level Of The Opéra Building, Built In 1993, These Infrastructures Today Present Significant Technical Obsolescence Affecting In Particular The Cvse Systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Sanitary Facilities, Electricity), The Fluid And Utility Networks, The Storage Spaces (Cold Rooms And Strong Rooms), And The Electrical And Security Installations. At The Same Time, The Evolution Of Swissmedics Regulatory Requirements And Gmp/Gmp (Good Manufacturing Practices) Standards Requires A Structural Upgrade In Order To Maintain The Operating Authorizations Necessary For The Production Of Critical Treatments. From January 1, 2027, Production Infrastructures Will No Longer Meet Swissmedic Requirements And Will Have To Benefit From An Exceptional Authorization, Subject To The Condition Of Rapid Renovation Of The Installations. The Withdrawal Of These Authorizations Would Have Major Consequences On Patient Care. In An International Context Marked By The Multiplication Of Drug Shortages And The Rapid Emergence Of Innovative Therapies, The Capacity Of Hug To Produce Locally Constitutes A Strategic Challenge For Cantonal Health Security. Likewise, Logistics Storage Infrastructures, Which Are Too Small, No Longer Make It Possible To Guarantee Sufficient Stocks Of Medicines, In This Context Of Supply Tensions. This Project Is Part Of The North Zone Program (Pzn), A Reference Program For The Real Estate Master Plan For The Cluse-Roseraie Site, Guaranteeing The Coherence Of Interventions On The Site And Coordinated Governance. Phase 1, A Fully Functional And Autonomous Stage. It Aims To Guarantee The Continuity Of Care And Regulated Therapeutic Production, While Bringing Infrastructures Into Compliance With Swissmedic Requirements. This Phase Includes: – The Creation Of Infrastructure Above The Opera Building Including Clean Rooms Complying With Gmp/Swissmedic Requirements For The Pharmacy And The Ltcc; And The Seismic Structural Reinforcement Of The Opera Building; – The Renovation/Expansion Of Pharmaceutical Logistics And Administrative Areas On Level R Of The Opéra Building; Alongside These 2 Sub-Projects, The Renovation Of The Roseraie 70 Premises Could Prove Necessary To House Administrative And Technical Areas. This Sub-Project Will Be The Subject Of An Option And Will Be Arbitrated In A Second Phase In The North Zone Program.
