Expression of Interest are invited for Geological-Geotechnical Investigations for the ICT Sorocaba This Terms of Reference covers the procurement of specialized geological-geotechnical investigation services for the Intercity Train project (TIC) Western Axis (São PauloSorocaba), conducted under the technical support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The scope includes the execution of composite boreholes combining Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and rotary core drilling at pre-defined locations along the two tunnel alignments foreseen in the preliminary design. Boreholes shall be distributed to cover tunnel portals, ventilation shafts, emergency exits, and intermediate points at a minimum spacing of 100 meters. Investigations must reach sufficient depth to characterize soils, weathered rock, and intact rock, extending below the tunnel invert elevation at each investigated point Expected deliverables include a mobilization plan, a geotechnical investigation plan with georeferenced borehole locations, daily borehole logs, individual geological-geotechnical profiles, and a consolidated final technical report in PDF format including shear strength parameter calculations. Editable data files (Excel, KMZ, etc.) are also required. Payment is milestone-based, tied to the acceptance of each deliverable, and all services must be completed within 30 calendar days from the contract start date.
