The Licensing And Control Agency Is Requesting Your Offer For The Collection Of Benthic Samples From The Depths Of The Surface Waters (Lakes And The Baltic Sea Coast) Monitoring Program, The Taxonomic Determination Of The Species, And The Submission Of Data To The Environmental Administrations Benthic Information System. The Task Is Described In More Detail In The Draft Contract Attached To The Request For Tenders And In The Linked Method Instructions That Must Be Followed In The Work. The Samples To Be Determined Within The Framework Of This Contract Are Listed In The Appendix To The Request For Tenders And The Sample Quantities Are Given In The Criteria For The Procurement Object. This Procurement Mainly Concerns Samples Taken In Summer And Autumn 2025 (Some Of The Samples Were Taken In Autumn 2024). The Samples Have Been Taken By The Contract Partners Of The Former Ely Centers, With Whom The Contracts Signed Were Transferred To The Licensing And Control Agency From The Beginning Of 2026. The Procurement Is Divided Into Parts, Which Appear In The Following Sections Of The Tender Request. In The Spring Of 2026, A New Version Of The Benthic Information System Of The Finnish Environment Institute Will Be Published, In Which The Method Of Recording The Results Will Change. According To Available Information, After Adopting The New Recording Method, The Recording Will Be Smoother Than At Present, I.E. The Workload Will Not Substantially Increase. However, The Tenderer Must Prepare For The Use Of The New System In This Work. A Separate Call For Tenders Will Be Published For The Processing Of Samples Of Rock Bottoms (River Rapids And Lake Shore Zones), Which Will Expire Later In The Spring.
