This Highly Secure Structure, Compliant With Felasa Standards, Houses More Than 350 Animal Lines Under Spf Status, Essential To The Validity Of Biomedical Research. The 2500 Liter Autoclave With Double Through Door Will Effectively Sterilize Cages, Bedding, Food And Equipment (Plastic Or Stainless Steel), Before Entering The Controlled Area. The Through Autoclave Allows The Incoming Material To Be Sterilized And The Outgoing Material To Be Decontaminated Without Breaking The Sanitary Barrier Between The “Dirty” Side And The “Clean” Side, Thus Contributing To Maintaining The Health Status Of The Animals. The Autoclave Must Be Compatible With The Trolleys Used By The Spf Pet Store, The Dimensions Of Which Are ≈ 135 Cm In Height, ≈78 Cm In Width And ≈ 135 Cm In Length. The Integration Of The Autoclave Is Part Of A Strict Biosecurity System Governing Access, The Movement Of Personnel And The Introduction Of Animals.
