Fire Engines – Acquisition Of 8000 Liter Tank Trucks Intended For The Wallonia Picardy Emergency Zone. The Purpose Of This Contract Is, According To The Clauses And Requirements Of These Specifications, The Conclusion Of A Multi-Year Contract, Known As “Purchase Order”, For A Period Of Four Years (48 Months) With A View To The Supply, During This Period, Of New Tank Trucks Essentially To Replace Used Or Decommissioned Vehicles As Well As To Meet New Needs. In Accordance With The Terms And Conditions Of These Special Specifications, The Successful Bidder Undertakes To Provide And Make Operational, In The Various Services Of The Wallonia Picardy Emergency Zone, The Vehicles And Equipment Described In Its Offer And To Ensure The Assistance Necessary For Their Start-Up. The Number Of Tank Trucks Covered By This Contract Is Estimated Between Two And Four Vehicles. However, The Attention Of Bidders Is Drawn To The Fact That The Quantities Indicated In These Special Specifications Are Presumed Quantities. There Are Therefore No Minimum Or Maximum Quantities. These Are Given For Purely Indicative Purposes Without Commitment On The Part Of The Contracting Authority. Notification Of Award Of The Contract To The Successful Bidder Therefore Does Not Commit The Contracting Authority To Place Orders For A Minimum Overall Amount And The Contracting Authority Reserves The Right To Adapt Its Orders To Changes In Its Needs.
