Mainframe Computer – Replacement Of High-Performance Computer Systems. The Subject Of The Order Includes Two High-Performance Computer Systems And Associated Network And Storage Infrastructure, As Well As Services, Product Servers (Optional), Maintenance, Software Equipment, Infrastructure And External Data Center Space (Server Housing/Co-Location). The Systems Are Distributed Across The Following Locations: ▪ Dmrz Offenbach Am Main (Dmrz-Of) ▪ External Co-Location Location (Dmrz-Ex) ▪ Dmrz Potsdam (Dmrz-Pd, Optional) ▪ Dmrz Euskirchen (Dmrz-Eu, Optional) The Availability Of The Systems At The Individual Locations Must Be At Least 95%, That Of The Production At The Dmrz-Of Locations And Dmrz-Ex Combined Are 99.9%. The Provision Of External Housing (Co-Location) Serves To Accommodate The Second, Independent Hpc System For Research And Climate Calculations, If Necessary Ai Training Clusters, A Data Management System And Other Systems Of The German Weather Service (Dwd, Client). The Creation Of The Overall System Is Divided Into The Following Phases: ▪ Phase 0: Migration Phase, Acceptance, System Service ▪ Phase 1: System Service, Performance Increase And Acceptance ▪ Phase 2: System Service, Optional Performance Increase And Acceptance ▪ Phase 3 (Optional): Continued Operation, If Necessary Performance Increase And Acceptance ▪ After The End Of The Contract (Optional): Dismantling, Disposal And Dismantling Of The Systems The Decision As To Whether The Dmrz-Euskirchen Option Was Chosen By The German Weather Service Will Take Place No Later Than The Acceptance Of The Contract.
