Prior Information Notice For Architectural Design Services – Arc-26-0005 Integrated Study Of Plan Alternatives Sigmaplan 3.0: Hydraulic, Ecological And Economic Evaluation. The Assignment Concerns An Integrated Study To Arrive At A Most Desirable Alternative (Mewa) For The Sigma Plan 3.0. This Mewa Is The Result Of An Integrated Consideration And Evaluation Of Various Spatial Plan Alternatives. Within This Assignment, Several Plan Alternatives Are Drawn Up, Based On Input From Various Ongoing Studies. These Alternatives Are Coordinated With Governments, Agencies And Stakeholders And Adjusted Where Necessary. The Selected Alternatives Are Then Evaluated Within A Plan Eia, Life Cycle Analysis (Lca) And Scba To Arrive At A Mewa. Within These Plan Alternatives, Additional Measures Can Be Investigated For The Safety Pillar, Such As The Use Of Additional Areas, The Raising Of Dikes And/Or The Construction Of A Storm Surge Barrier. The Suitability Of Possible Locations And The Type Of Storm Surge Barrier That Is Eligible Will Be Further Elaborated In The Context Of This Assignment. The Search Area For The Plan Alternatives Includes At Least The Valleys Of The Zeeschelde And Its Tributaries, The Lower Durme, The Rupel, The Nete, The Kleine Nete (To Grobbendonk), The Grote Nete (To Geel), The Dijle (To Werchter), The Demer (To Diest) And The Zenne. To Evaluate The Effects It May Be Necessary To Consider A Broader Contour.
