P26-058 Consulting Services - Building Inspectors . The City Of Prince George (The City) Is Seeking Proposals From Experienced And Qualified Consultants To Provide Building Permit Review, Approvals And Inspection Services. This Rfp Aims To Engage Consultants With Expertise In Ensuring Compliance With The British Columbia Building Code, National Plumbing Code Of Canada, City Of Prince George Building Bylaw, And Other Applicable Regulations. The Selected Firms Must Hold The Necessary Accreditation And Professional Designation To Provide Application Reviews (E.G. Schedules, Plans, Photos, Drawings, Technical Information) And Inspections, When Applicable And Must Be In Good Standing With The Building Officials’ Association Of British Columbia In Addition To This, Any Of The Building Permit Information Provided By The Consultants Must Be Of A Professional State (I.E. Markup On Drawings And Emails) That It Will Be Part Of The Defensible Record For That Building Permit. Additionally, The Consultants Will Help Strengthen The Citys Building Inspection Teams Skills In Managing Complex And Smaller-Scale Projects On An As-Needed, Non-Exclusive Basis.
