South Gloucestershire Council Is A Unitary Authority In The South-West Of England, Responsible For Social Services, Including Provision Of Care And Support To Adults With Eligible Needs Under The Care Act 2014. In Many Circumstances This Will Involve Care And Support Delivered At Home, Whether That Is Within The General Community Or Within A Specialist Housing With Care Setting, Such As Extra Care Housing.The Council Is Inviting Tenders From Potential Suppliers Who Wish To Provide High Quality Care And Support Services Under The ‘Care And Support In Your Home Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (Dps)’. Providers May Be Registered With The Care Quality Commission As A Provider Of Personal Care To Those Who Require This. Submissions From Non-Regulated Providers Able To Provide Support And Assistance Are Also Welcome, Including Those Working In Partnership With A Regulated Service.The Pseudo Dps Includes Three Lots – Home, Community And Partnership. Providers Are Invited To Apply To Join The Pseudo Dps At One Or More Of These Levels, The Expectations Of Each Level Being Detailed In The Specification. Personal Care, As Defined By The Care Quality Commission, Will Only Be Delivered By Providers Qualifying To Join The Pseudo Dps Home Lot.
