Tenders Are Invited For Maintaining The Canteen Service

Tenders are invited for Maintaining the Canteen Service Year 2026 / 2027. Bid documents may be obtained from the Head Office of the hospital between 9.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on normal working days from 02.04.2026 until 21.04.2026 on submission of the receipt obtained from the Shroff of this hospital upon payment of an application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 5,000.00 as bid document fee, and Worth Certificate to the value of Rupees Four Million (Rs. 4,000,000.00) valid for 06 months from the date of issuing the bid and the National Identity Card. Bids submitted should be valid up to 77 days (from 22.04.2026 up to 07.07.2026). Also should submit a Bid Security valued at Rs. 100,000/ = obtained from a commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka drawn in favour of the Director of Peradeniya General Hospital or the amount can be paid by cash to the Shroff of the Hospital and the Receipt General 172 thus obtained submitted with the bids. Completed bids, the relevant cover marked as "Maintaining of the Canteen - 2026/2027" at the left-side top corner could either be sent by registered post addressed to Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee, General Hospital, Peradeniya or placed in the Tender Box kept in the Office of the Hospital Accountant, to be received at or before 2.30 p.m. on 22.04.2026. Bids received will be opened at 2.30 p.m. on 22.04.2026 at the Auditorium of the Peradeniya General Hospital and bidder or one of his authorized representatives can be present at the bid opening.
