The Attacks On The Twin Towers On September 11, 2001 Were A Turning Point In National Security Thinking Worldwide. In The Netherlands Too, This Led To Renewed Attention For The Protection Of Vital Infrastructure: The Essential Facilities Such As Gas, Drinking Water, Electricity And Communications On Which Society Runs Every Day. For Wml, As Part Of The Drinking Water Sector, This Has Led To Demonstrably Improving The Physical Security Of Our Drinking Water Production Locations Through A Project-Based Approach. In Recent Years, Efforts Have Been Made To Strengthen The Security Of The 57 Production Locations Through Organizational, Architectural And Electronic Measures (Obe). Through An Initial Proof Of Concept, 14 Locations Have Already Been Provided With This Improved Physical Security. With This Tender We Want To Provide The Following 9 Locations (Cluster 2) With The Updated Physical Security. These Locations Include Continuously Operating Drinking Water Production Installations And Consist Of A Mix Of Larger And Smaller Installations, Such As Pumping Stations With Associated Well Fields And Pressure Multiplication Installations. The Locations Are Within A Radius Of Approximately 10 Km, Both In Rural Areas And In Urban Areas.
