Work Detail
The Aim Of The Department Of Health And Welfare (Also Thl) Is To Launch A Tender, The Target Of Which Would Be Two (2) New Digital Pathology Glass Scanners For The Histology Laboratories Of Thls Forensic Medicine Unit Located In Helsinki And Turku (One Device For Both). The Object Of The Planned Procurement Would Include The Software And Systems/System Integrations Required By The Scanners, As Well As The Services Required By The Equipment And Software Maintenance. The Assumption Is That Special Device-Related Accessories Or Spare Parts Would Not Need To Be Taken Into Account Separately In The Procurement. With The Acquisition Of Scanners, The Forensic Medicine Unit Would Be Introducing Digital Pathological Examination Methods, Where The Histological Samples Of The Deceased From The Units Five (5) Locations Would Be Scanned Into Digital Format, So That They Could Be Examined Regardless Of Location. On An Annual Basis, There Would Be Approximately 80,000 Corpse Samples To Be Scanned And They Would Be Divided Equally Between Two (2) Scanners. A Total Of Around 50 Users Should Have The Opportunity To View The Images. The Baskets That Go Into The Scanners Should Be Compatible With The Baskets Of The Sakura Prisma Dyeing Machine Used By The Procurement Unit. The Preliminary Idea Is To Tender The Purchase As A Single Entity, Because The Equipment And Related Services Must Be Uniform. The Equipment Can Be Purchased As A Service Solution, With A Leasing Model Or As Your Own; The Procurement Model Is Still Being Refined. During The Market Dialogue, Alternatives Are Explored And The Effects Of Regulation Are Also Taken Into Account (Most Recently, The Amendment To The Energy Efficiency Act, Etl 1382/2025). The Additional Announcement Is A Market Survey Announcement. This Announcement Does Not Solicit Offers. The Market Survey Announcement Is Accompanied By An Invitation To Register For The Market Dialogue. 1.
