The Runway Is A New, Planned 25-Kilometer Rail Connection From Pasila Via Helsinki-Vantaa Airport To Kerava. The Runway Creates Direct Long-Distance Train Connections To The Airport And Enables Faster Than Current Train Connections To The Airport And Brings More Track Capacity To The Congested Pasila-Kerava Section. A Total Of 24 Kilometers Of The Runway Is Located In The Tunnel.
