Fibre-Optic Connections – Renewal Of Belnets Cross Border Fiber. In The Context Of The Iot@ Project, Belnet Has Been Operating A Dark Fiber To The Grand Duchy Of Luxembourg Since 2010, Which Is Part Of A Collaboration Between The Nrens Belnet, Dfn, Renater & Restena. The Contract For The Existing Dark Fiber Will Expire On 30/09/2026 And Belnet Wishes To Conclude A New Contract Through This Government Contract For The Provision Of A Dark Fiber Pair And Maintenance, In Order To Continue To Guarantee Continuity. The Dark Fiber Runs Between The Following Points: Point A: Border Crossing In Sterpenich, Parking E25, Manhole Sofico Point B: Luxconnect Dc1, 202, Z.A.E. Wolser F, L-3290 Bettembourg The Distance As The Crow Flies Between Both Points Is Approximately 21.2 Kilometers. Duration: Belnet Wishes To Conclude A Contract For A Period Of 10 Years. In Addition, There Is An Additional Period To Align The End Of The Contract With The End Of The Existing Cooperation Agreement Between Belnet And The Région Wallonne For Its Backbone Fibers (31/12/2037).
