The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Zamfara State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of 42 Secondary Schools, comprising of (21) Junior Secondary Schools and (21) Senior Secondary Schools, Phase 1, Package 1: lots 1 to 5, in Zamfara State. 2. The Zamfara State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the office of the Project Coordinator, now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of 42 Secondary Schools, comprising of (21) Junior Secondary Schools and (21) Senior Secondary Schools, Phase 1, Package 1: lots 1 to 5, in Zamfara State as shown in Section II Bid Data Sheet (BDS), ITB 1.1 of the Request for Bids (RFB). The attention of the prospective bidders is hereby drawn to the Pre-Construction activities, including confirmation of foundation designs of various buildings to determine suitability for the soil type, preparation of service drawings for the site, etc, as required under paragraph 5 of section III of bidding document. 3. Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the bidding document. Bids should be presented separately for each lot. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. 4. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Banks Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Procurement in Investment Projects Financing September, 2025 (Procurement Regulations) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Zamfara State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) at the address given below. 6. The bidding document in English may be purchased from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000.00) only in a Bank Draft in Favour of Zamfara State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project, The document could be collected at the address below on presentation of proof of payment. At the bidders request, the documents could also be sent by courier after payment of an additional fee to cover the delivery cost. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address in paragraph 11 below on or before 12:00 pm on Monday, May 04, 2026 (local time) 8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration duly signed by the bidder/ representative. 9.
