The Vatiala Blessing Chapel Is Located In The Vatiala Cemetery At Kappelinkierto 3A, 36220 Kangasala. Vatialas Blessing Chapel Was Designed By Architect Viljo Revell And Was Completed In 1960. The Organ Was Built By The Kangasala Organ Factory In 1960 And Is Largely In Its Original Condition. The Chapel Is An Architecturally And Culturally Significant Building And Is Protected By The Site Plan. The Protection Proposal To Protect The Chapel With Church Law Is Underway. Although The Protection Status Is Not Yet Official, The Site Is Treated As If It Has Protection According To Church Law. The Extensive Renovation Of The Blessing Chapel Was Completed In January 2026. The Renovation Of The Organ Will Be Carried Out Together According To A Separately Agreed Schedule. The Tenderer Must Present His Own Schedule Proposal In Connection With The Offer. If Necessary, The Subscriber Will Purchase A Spare Player For The Large Chapel During The Organs Overhaul. The Tenderer Must Appoint Separate Responsible Persons For The Repair Of The Electronic System Of The Musical Instrument And For The Work On The Organ Pipes And Ventilation. The Tender Must Include All The Work Stages Of The Fundamental Repair Of The Organ With Materials, From The Fundamental Repair Plan Of The Instrument To The Approved Final Inspection, Including Any Repairs Made During The Warranty Period Starting From The Final Inspection, Which Are Covered By The Warranty. The Tender Must Also Include The Dismantling Of Parts To The Extent That It Is Necessary And Waste Removal And Waste Fees. The Customer Requires A Five (5) Year Warranty Period For Work And Materials. The Offer Must State The Warranty Period And Terms. The Bid Must Include Two (2) Years Of Maintenance, Including The Check Of The Soundboard And Mechanism, Tuning And Recording Repairs, As Well As The Correction Of Defects Noted In The Organs Maintenance Book. The Organ Repairer Must Consider The Following In His Bid:- The Blessing Chapel Cannot Be Taken Out Of Blessing Use Before February 2027.- The Bidder Must Provide A Schedule Proposal For The Fundamental Repair Of The Organ In Connection With The Bid. The Final Schedule Will Be Agreed Together With The Customer.- The Organ Repairer Must Take Care Of Cleaning The Marks Caused By His Own Work And Handling The Waste. The Organ Repairer Must Clean The Large Chapel Of Dust Or Other Dirt And Waste Caused By His Own Work Before The Blessing Ceremonies, If The Organ Repair Is Carried Out While The Chapel Is Simultaneously In Use For The Blessing.- Materials Containing Harmful Substances, Such As Organ Pipes Containing Lead, Must Be Handled Carefully And In Such A Way That Harmful Substances Do Not Enter The Environment, But Are Collected And Recycled Appropriately.- The Customer Can, If Necessary, Make The Organ Repairer Available A Break Room And Space For Storing Small Items From The Basement Floor Of The Chapel. However, The Organ Repairer Is Responsible For The Storage Of Large Items That May Be Needed In The Restoration, Including Transport Costs. The Tenderer Must Undertake To Perform All Repair Work Flawlessly, With High Professionalism, With High-Quality Materials And On The Agreed Schedule. The Repair Methods Must Be Based On Parts And Systems From Well-Known Organ Component Manufacturers, So That They Have A Comprehensive Warranty And Possible Repairs Can Be Carried Out Even Decades From Now. The Tenderer Must Have A Comprehensive Operational Liability Insurance That Covers Personal And Property Damage To Third Parties As Well. The Insurance Amount Must Be Sufficient And Must Be Valid For The Entire Duration Of The Repair Work. The Supplier Also Takes Care Of Insurance For Its Own Staff And Property And Other Statutory Employer Obligations. The Supplier Is Responsible For Insurance During Work And Insuring Unfinished Organ Parts. The Tenderer Must, Upon Request, Provide The Parish Association With The Insurance Policies. The Offer Must Be Made In Finnish. All Documents Are Prepared In Finnish And The Working Language Of The Site Is Finnish. The Bidder Is Responsible For Possible Interpretation And Translation Of The Documents Into Finnish. The Bidder Must Approve The Installment Plan With The Customer Before Starting The Work. The Payment Term Of The Invoices Must Be At Least 21 Days And The Late Payment Interest Must Be In Accordance With The Applicable Interest Law.
