Under The Social Support Act (Wmo 2015), The Municipality Is Responsible For Ensuring That Clients Who Experience Limitations In Their Self-Reliance And Social Participation Receive Appropriate Support To Compensate For This. In The Context Of This Tender, The Municipality Intends To Purchase Overnight Shelters As Referred To In The Social Support Act (Wmo 2015). Overnight Care, To Relieve The Burden On The Informal Caregiver, Is A Service Providing Additional Support Under The Wmo That Offers Amsterdam Residents And Their Informal Caregiver(S) Support In The Areas Of Self-Reliance, Co-Reliance And Social Participation. Overnight Care Is Respite Care With The Aim Of Preventing And Reducing The Overburden Of Informal Caregivers In Amsterdam, In A Way That Meets The Needs Of Informal Caregivers And The Person They Care For. The Amsterdam Resident Is Going To Stay Overnight, So That His/Her Informal Caregiver(S) Is/Are Temporarily Relieved. The Support That Amsterdam Residents Need And Receive At Home Is Offered At The Accommodation Location. This Concerns A Temporary Stay In A (Care) Organization. The Municipality Is Only Responsible For The Purchase Of Accommodation And The Associated Costs, Including Daytime Activities And Guidance. Any Further Insured Care Needed (Nursing, Personal Care) Is Not Covered By This Purchase And Must, Where Appropriate, Be Arranged Separately Via The Healthcare Insurance Act (Zvw).
