Tenders Are Invited For Waltrop, Im Dicken Dören; Outdoor Facilities

Nrw.Urban Kommunale Entwicklung Gmbh Hereby Invites Tenders For The City Of Waltrop To Expand The Outdoor Facilities For The Planned “Im Dicken Dören” Commercial Area In Waltrop. The City Of Waltrop Is Developing An Agricultural Area On A Former Mine Dump On The Southern City Limits On The L 609 Into A Commercial-Industrial Location. The Plateau Area On The Mining Dump Measures Around 15 Hectares, Of Which Around 10 Hectares Will Be Developed Into A Commercial And Industrial Area In The Development Plan. For Traffic Development, A Cul-De-Sac Is Being Built North Of The Private Road Im Dicken Dören, Which Runs Under The Route Of The High-Voltage Line And Divides The Commercial Area Into A Northern And A Southern Part. The Commercial Area Is Framed All Around By Green Areas On Which A Rain Retention Basin, Earth Walls Along The Border As Privacy Screens, Ecological Compensation In The Form Of Orchards And Planting Of The Earth Walls, As Well As Paths For The Development And Maintenance Of The Green Areas Are Created. There Is A Meadow Area In The Immediate Vicinity For Additional Compensatory Measures. With The Exception Of The Rain Retention Basin And The Earth Wall Cores, Which Were Already Built In The Previous Construction Lots, The Above-Mentioned Green Areas Are The Subject Of This Tender. The Preparation Of The Commercial Areas For Construction Began In Spring 2025, And The Implementation Of The Development Measures Also Began In The Course Of 2025. Both Measures Will Be Carried Out By The Same Construction Company And Will Be Completed In Autumn 2026.
