Industrial Gases – Gases (Government-Wide) For The National Laboratory Category. There Is An Ongoing Need Within The Government Laboratories For A Portfolio Of Laboratory Gases (Such As Hydrogen, Helium, Nitrogen). For Example, Gases Are Used As A Carrier For Analyses, As A Reference For Analyses, And For Cooling. The Desired Quality Of Gases Is Often Related To The Requirements Of Analysis Equipment. A Portfolio Of Gases Can Consist Of Various Types Of Gases In Various Qualities And Various Packaging Forms, Such As Cylinders (Both Rental And Own Cylinders), Dewars And Bulk. In Addition To The Supply Of Gases, A Number Of Participating Services Require Services Such As Connecting And Exchanging Cylinders And Automated Or Manual Stock Control. A Number Of Participating Services Also Require The Regular Filling Of Dewar Vessels With Liquid Nitrogen (Cryo Service). The Current Agreement Stems From A European Tender From 2021. The Agreement With The Current Supplier Is Expiring. It Is Expected That The Government Laboratories Will Still Need Gases In The Coming Years.
