Database Services – Company Database. The Subject Of The Service Is Access To A Current, Structured And Comprehensive Company Database As Well As The Transmission Of A Company Data Set For Carrying Out Sample-Based Checks In Accordance With Section 8C Paragraph 2 Of The Energy Services Act (Edl-G) And Section 10 Of The Energy Efficiency Act (Enefg). The Aim Of The Service Is To Effectively Support The Employees Of Department 514 Of The Federal Office Of Economics And Export Control (Bafa) In Carrying Out Their Legal Monitoring Tasks. These Concern In Particular: • Checking Compliance With The Energy Audit Requirement According To The Edl-G, • Checking The Establishment Of Energy Or Environmental Management Systems And • Monitoring The Creation And Publication Of Implementation Plans According To The Enefg. For This Purpose, In Addition To Database Access, A Current Company Data Record (“Company File”) Must Be Provided. This File Must Contain All Companies Based In Germany With The Exception Of Micro-Enterprises (Less Than 10 Employees) And Enable A Targeted Selection Of Potentially Obligated Companies As Part Of A Regular Sampling Procedure. In Particular, The Company File Must Contain Structured Information That Allows The Samples To Be Targeted To The Relevant Target Groups Of The Legal Requirements (In Particular Edl-G And Enefg). Only On This Basis Can An Efficient, Legally Compliant And Required Implementation Of The Random Checks Be Guaranteed. Due To An Upcoming Amendment To The Edl-G And The Enefg, An Optional Extension Must Also Be Provided. This Must Enable Bafa To Expand Database Access To Companies Based In The European Union. The Company File Is Not Affected By This Extension. Short Description Of The Order Or Procurement Project: Provision Of Company Data To Support Sample-Based Control In Accordance With Section 8C Paragraph 2 Edl-G And Section 10 Enefg By Bafa. The Service Includes, In Particular, Access To A Daily Updated Company Database As Well As The Regular Transmission Of A Structured Company File.
