The Database At Http://Searcharchives.Vancouver.Ca/ Is The Front/Public-Facing End Of The Archives’ Digital Archives Preservation And Access System, Which Uses Atom. The Website Is Accessible To And Used By Researchers Around The World. Behind The Scenes Is Another Application Called Archivematica. Archivematica Is A Web And Standards-Based, Open-Source Application, Which Allows Memory Institutions To Preserve Long-Term Access To Trustworthy, Authentic And Reliable Digital Content.Artefactual Systems Inc. Is A Canadian Professional Services And Software Development Company Based In Surrey, Bc. Artefactual Developed Atom And Archivematica, And Provides Technical Support And Domain Expertise Worldwide For Both Applications.
