The Object Of The Contract Is The Purchase And Installation Of An Advanced Computer System For The Development Of Large Artificial Intelligence Models For The Department Of Electrical And Computer Engineering. The Installation Of The System In Question Will Be Done As An Extension Of The Existing Hpc (High Performance Computing) Infrastructure Of Auth With The Addition Of Two Powerful Compute Nodes Equipped With State-Of-The-Art Gpu Cards. In The Existing Array Of Auth, Access Is Available To A Total Of Ten (10) Nvidia Gpu Cards Of The Data Center Gpus Category, Of Which Two (2) Are Generation Pascal (2016) With 12Gb Vram Per Card And Eight (8) Generation Ampere (2020) With 40Gb Vram Per Card. It Is Proposed To Add Two New Servers With 8 New “Nvidia Data Center” Series Graphics Cards Each And Vram Memory Per Gpu At Least Three Times That Of The Existing Ampere Generation Cards.
