Prequalifications are invited for Supply, Installation of Entrepreneurial Equipment and Training of Lecturers Date Added: March 26, 2026 Deadline: 21/04/2026 Category: Laboratory Equipment & Supplies, Equipment Supply 3.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS Interested Firms are to collect the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) from the office of the Director of Physical planning, Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State with an evidence of payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 , through remita platform in any Commercial Bank of their Choice in favour of Abia State University, Uturu, abia State. Evidence of such Payments is to be presented at the cash Office. 4.0 SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS Prospective bidders are to submit Technical and Financial Bids packaged separately in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as Technical Bid or Financial Bid. Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope and addressed to The Vice Chancellor, Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State, and clearly marked with (the name of the project boldly written at the back of the envelope). Furthermore, the reverse side of the envelope should be clearly marked with the name and address of the bidder and dropped in the designated tender box at the Vice Chancellors Office not later than 12:00noon on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026. 6.0 OPENING OF TECHNICAL BIDS Only the Technical will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026.at the board room of Abia State University, Uturu in the presence of bidders or their representatives. 7.0 GENERAL INFORMATION Bids must be in English Language and signed by an official authorised by the firm; Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be rejected and returned unopened; Delivery by courier will not be accepted; All cost incurred as a result of the bid invitation shall be borne by the bidders The University is not obliged to award the contract to the lowest cost bidder; Only pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
