Description Purpose And Scope The Norwegian Education Agency Wants To Offer The Oslo Schools An Expanded Experience And Teaching Offer That Will Support The Schools Work In The Food And Health Subjects. The Offer Must Also Contribute To Other Relevant Subject Areas That Facilitate Exploratory And Interdisciplinary Teaching, With A Particular Focus On Health-Promoting Diet, Sustainable Eating Habits And Responsible Consumption, As Described In Lk20. It Is Desirable That The Teaching Consists Of Practical Activities With Cooking, Growing And Harvesting Fruit And Vegetables, Among Other Things. The Purpose Is To Ensure That Students Get Relevant And Up-To-Date Knowledge, Information And Have Good Experiences. The Teaching And Experiences Must Be In Line With The Curriculum And It Should Have An Approach To Other Subjects And Basic Skills Such As Science, Mathematics, Arithmetic, Reading And Oral Skills As Well As Language Training For Students Who Have Weak Norwegian Language Skills. The Pupils Must Be Activated Through The Work, And There Must Also Be A Focus On Competence Transfer To Teachers And School Staff.
