Cast-Iron Products – Historical Lamps. Procurement Services Of The City Of Turku Is Requesting Bids For Historic Lighting On Behalf Of The Urban Construction And Facilities Service Package. The City Of Turku Has Many Historic, Protected Parks In The City Center Area, Which Are Part Of The Turku National City Park. Old-Fashioned Lampposts Play An Important Role In Parks And Historic Urban Environments. The Lampposts Are Cast Iron And Have A Copper Lantern. In The Parks There Is A Decorative Hexagonal Lantern Model, In The Street Areas A Square One. Both Lamps Come With Their Own Cast Iron Column Model. The Poles And Lanterns Must Be Made Of Similar Materials Used In The 19Th Century And Largely With The Same Manufacturing Techniques, So That They Look The Same As Their Prototypes. The Supplier Must Prepare The Necessary Drawings Of The Existing Lanterns And Poles, Produce Casting Molds And Other Tools Necessary For Production. The Old Pole Or Its Replica With Lanterns Is Loaned To The Supplier As A Model For The Production Of The Prototype. The Quantities To Be Procured Are As Follows: Street Model: 27 Pcs. Park Model: 41 Pcs. Option: Park Model, Maximum 15 Pcs. After This, If The Prototypes Are Accepted, The Actual Contract For The Implementation Phase Is Concluded. Luminaires For Purchase In Batches, According To The Schedules Of The Construction Projects To Be Implemented. The Delivery Schedule Is Agreed Between The Customer And The Supplier During The Development Phase. One Supplier With Possible Subcontractors/Groups Will Be Selected As The Executioner Of The Procurement. The Procurement Is Described In More Detail In This Call For Tenders And Its Attachments.
