Tenders Are Invited For Carrying Out Work On Heating - Ventilation And Fire Detection Installations In The 16Th Century Wing And The Evacuation Areas With A View To Opening The Castle To The Public - Relaunch Of The Heating - Ventilation Installation And Fire Detection - Sprinkling Lots
The Heating Lot, The Castle Will Be Heated Using Gas Condensing Boilers. Depending On The Premises, The Transmitter Devices Will Be Either Visible Or Embedded In The Floor Or In A Partition Wall. The Contract Also Includes The Installation Of Controlled Mechanical Ventilation. Concerning The Fire Detection Package, This Includes The Installation Of Fire Detectors Connected To A Central Unit, The Installation Of Fire Extinguishers And Fire Hose Reels. Also Included In This Contract Is The Installation Of A High-Pressure Water Mist Sprinkler System As Well As A Water Buffer Reserve. This System Has Been Put In Place In Consultation With The Huy Fire Department In Order To Reduce The Risks Of A Possible Fire Spreading Within The Castle. The Configuration Of The Premises Does Not Allow Direct And Rapid Access By Fire Crews To The Building And The Geographical Location Far From The Firefighters Departure Stations (Huy Or Waremme) Make It Necessary To Install A Sprinkler System.
