The City Of Prince Rupert Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents In Response To This Request For Proposals Or The Provision Of Services (As Defined Herein) To Be Carried Out Within The Required Schedule Set Out Herein For Engineering Services And Design For The Rerouting Of The City Outfall K Catchment.Historically The City Has Utilized Outfalls Around The City But Are Now In The Process Of Amalgamating As Many Outfalls As Possible. The Successful Proponent Will Be Provided With All Historic And Current Data Of The Outfalls And Their Corresponding Catchment Area The City Has Acquired And Maintained.Outfall K Encompasses Approximately 1,200 M Of Sewer And 600M Of Storm Pipe Along Various Streets (Overlook, Pigott And Parmenter)Proponent Must Supply Schedule And Availability To Start And End Design Works And Provide A Cost Estimate To Budget For The Replacement/Construction In The Late Summer Of 2026.Scope Of Servicesthe Services For The Project Will Comprise The Preparation Of A Set Of Drawings Incorporating The Function Of Sub-Catchments Within The Outfall K Catchment Area Into The Outfall I To Include, Without Limiting:(I)The Confirmation And/Or Establishment Of All Flows (Sanitary And Storm Water) Within The Catchment Areas,(Ii)An Inspection And Condition Assessment Of The Existing Applicable Outfalls, Manholes, Or Mains At Proposed“Tie-In” Area, Both Constructed And Natural (Hydrovac Or Exploratory Works May Be Required)(Iii)The Measurement And Calculations Of Sewer And Storm Flows At Various Points Within The Applicableoutfalls And Catchment Areas (City Will Provide Historic Data Available For Reference Only),(Iv)The Measurement Of Local Precipitation, And/Or;(V)An Estimation Of The 1:100 Year Flood For The Catchment Areas Based On The Data Gathered And Provided(Vi)Survey Inlets And Outlets (Tie In Areas) For Applicable Outfalls Catchment Areas (Any And All As-Built Data Available Will Be Provided)(Vii)Establish And Design A Tie-In Point For The Outfall K Catchment.(Viii)Gravity System Preferred, Liftstation Considered If Gravity Cannot Be Achieved(Ix)Provide Cost C Estimate For Construction Works To Achieve Design(X)Consult Dfo And Moe With Design And Any/All Permitting Required To Complete Works(Xi)Produce Ift (Issued For Tender) Drawing Set And Assist In Tender Document Procurement(Xii)Contract Administration And Site Inspection Services(Xiii)Produce Ifc (Issued For Construction) Drawing Set(Xiv)Project Closeout, Record Drawings, And Moe Eccc Requirements(Xv)In 2021 An Extensive Camera And Study Was Conducted Of The Outfall I And K Catchment Area.
