De Scheeken Nature Reserve Is Located In The Brabant Nature Network And Is Also A Wet Natural Pearl. The Project Area Has A Total Area Of Approximately 593 Hectares. De Scheeken Is Not A Natura 2000 Area. The Area Is Subject To Desiccation. Brabants Landschap Is The Initiator Of The Project And Does This In Collaboration With Waterschap De Dommel. The Aim Of The Tender Is To Arrive At One Service Provider That Achieves The Following Objectives: 1. To Realize Maximum Hydrological Restoration For The Benefit Of Nature Within The Project Boundary, Whereby The Current Natural Values Are Preserved As Much As Possible. 2. It Must Also Be Identified Which Bottlenecks And Opportunities Exist In The Peripheral Zone Around The Project Area In Order To Bring The Water Balance More Into Balance. 3. Implementing Measures Outside The Project Boundary Are Outside The Scope Of This Project, With The Exception Of Optimizing The Water Management In The Nature Playground Of The Municipality Of Best.
