Quotation are invited for Consultancy on Delivery of Core Work and Life Skills Training and Career Guidance for Persons with Disabilities in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and Bekaa, Lebanon. Humanity & Inclusion, the new name of Handicap International (HI), is an independent and impartial aid and development organization with no religious or political affiliations operating in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable people to help meet their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. Since the organization was first founded in 1982, we have worked in 62 countries in support to development effort or in response to emergencies HI has been working in Lebanon since 1992 and has since continued to provide assistance through different sectors including Physical Rehabilitation, Mental Health and PsychoSocial Support, Inclusive and Specialized Education, Economic Inclusion, Humanitarian Mine Action, and Inclusive Humanitarian Action. As part of the ENABLE program, which is implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and aims to improve living conditions and resilience of refugees displaced by the Syrian crisis and vulnerable host communities in Lebanon. HI has been commissioned to support 80 job seekers with disabilities with core-work skills training as well as apprenticeships (50 targeted) and job placements (10 targeted) in order to promotes demand-driven work-based learning (WBL) as a key pathway to enhance employability, facilitate labour market access, and reduce dependency on social assistance. HI is seeking the service of highly qualified 4 in-Class Core Work Skills Trainers (2 pairs) to design, deliver, and facilitate a 10-day, disability-inclusive core work skills training program targeting 80 job seekers with disabilities (30% females, 30% non-Lebanese, age (18-54) 2 targeted areas to be decided at the time of projects inception that can be among the following: Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Tripoli, Central Bekaa/Zahle. The 2 pairs of trainers will work to co-deliver 2 training groups (20 participants in each group) per pair. The 10-day training will be aligned with the ILO Global Framework on Core Skills for Life and Work in the 21st Century. The trainers will also provide individualized career guidance sessions to support participants transition to apprenticeship placements.
