Assignment Description And Project Objective The Natura2000 Voorstonden-Leusveld Project Is Part Of The Implementation Of The Natura 2000 Management Plan For The Brummen Estates Area. Within This Framework, The Province Of Gelderland And Natuurmonumenten Work Closely Together On The Preparation And Implementation Of Nature Restoration Measures. The Province Of Gelderland Acts As The Competent Authority And Client For The Implementation Of The Natura 2000 Measures. It Is Responsible For The Financing And Contractual Management Of The Implementation. As A Site Management Organization, Natuurmonumenten Is The Landowner And Manager Of (A Large Part Of) The Project Locations And Provides Substantive Expertise With Regard To Nature Objectives, Design, Management Principles And Ecological Preconditions. The Collaboration Between The Parties Is Aimed At Sustainably Restoring And Strengthening The Natural Values Within The Natura 2000 Area. The Measures Relate, Among Other Things, To Hydrological Restoration, Combating Dehydration, Improving Soil And Water Conditions And Optimizing Habitats For Protected Habitats And Species. For The Contractor: Work Is Carried Out Within The Framework Of The Applicable Natura 2000 Management Plan; The Specific Ecological Preconditions As Included In The Specifications And Associated Work Protocols Must Be Taken Into Account; Coordination Takes Place With The Manager On Behalf Of The Province Of Gelderland And Natuurmonumenten, Where Relevant, With Representatives Of Natuurmonumenten As Site Manager; Carefulness, Minimal Disruption And Preservation Of Existing Natural Values Are Guiding Principles In The Implementation. The Contractor Must Be Aware Of The Special Status Of The Work Area And Act In Accordance With The Applicable Laws And Regulations, Including The Nature Conservation Act (Included In The Environmental Act Since 2024) And The Mitigating And Protective Measures Included In The Specifications.
