This Request For Proposal Identifies A Business Opportunity For The Successful Proponent To Provide Marine Structural Construction Services Pertaining To The Departure Bay Berth 2 & 3 Ramp Tower Life Extension Project. Phase I Works Includes Diving And Underwater Structural Repairs To The Berth 2 & 3 Ramp Tower Piles. An Optional Site Visit At The Departure Bay Ferry Terminal Has Been Scheduled As Part Of The Rfp Process At 10:45Am On Wednesday April 9, 2026. Proponents Will Meet At The Foot Passenger Ticketing Building And Must Sign-In With The Project Manager. Proponents Must Inform The Bc Ferries Category Manager George Musselwhite Via Email Of Their Intent To Attend The Site Visit, Three Business Days In Advance Of The Scheduled Date And Time To Secure Attendance. Proponents Are To State The Name Of The Company They Represent And The Name(S) Of Attendees. Bc Ferries Requests Proponents To Limit Attendance To Two Personnel Per Proponent. Further Information Including Specific Location And Parking To Be Provided Via Email Once Attendance Is Secured. Personal Protective Equipment Is Required During The Site Visit; Including Steel Toe Boots, Hi-Vis Vests And Personal Flotation Devices.
