Pumping Station Construction Work – Realization Of The Kwelvaart Pumping Station. There Are Two Pumping Stations In The Wieringermeer Polder; Slootvaart Pumping Station And Hoekvaart Pumping Station, Which Pump Water From The Lower Water Levels Into The Polder Towards The Leemans Pumping Station. Leemans Pumping Station Then Discharges The Water Into The Wadden Sea. The Depreciation Period For The Hoekvaart Pumping Station Has Expired And The Pumping Station Is Due For Major Renovation In The Foreseeable Future. To Improve Water Management Within The Polder, The Plan Is Not To Renovate The Pumping Station, But To Rebuild The Fish-Friendly Kwelvaart Pumping Station With A Capacity Of 2 X 180M3/Min At Another Location.
