Tenders are invited for Purchase of emergency response equipment for the Disaster Management Centre Items and Quantities to be purchased 325 Nos. of Gum Boots 150 Nos. of Search Lights 25 Nos. of Manila Ropes (100m) 150 Nos. of Industrial Gloves 150 Nos. of Helmet with Light 6 Nos. of Wire Cutter 270 Nos. of Raincoats DMC SRI LANKA Ministry of Defence Disaster Management Center Procurement Notice The Departmental Procurement Committee of the Disaster Management Centre has decided to invite quotations from registered suppliers of goods and services in Sri Lanka for the following procurements to be carried out by the Disaster Management Centre. Accordingly, the relevant suppliers may submit sealed quotations at their own discretion for the following goods and services. The procurement form can be obtained from the Finance Department on the 3rd Floor of the Disaster Management Center, Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 07, on any working day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from 20 March 2026 to 9 April 2026 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000.00. Accordingly, the procurement document should be submitted for the above procurement category; therefore, quotations can be submitted for one item or all items of the relevant category as per their choice. It is mandatory to submit a 1% bid security for the total value of the quotations so submitted, as per the Government Procurement Guidelines The further name of the procurement or procurement number, mentioned on the top left corner of the envelope enclosing the bids and sealed (affixing a sticker relevant to the institution, a rubber stamp, or a wax stamp), should be sent addressed to the Chairman - Departmental Procurement Committee, Procurement Unit, Finance Division, Disaster Management Center, Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 07, by registered post or deposited in the tender box located in the Finance Division on the 3rd floor, to reach at or before 2:00 p.m. on April 10, 2026. All bids received after that time will be rejected. Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on April 10, 2026, and bidders or their authorized representatives will be allowed to attend. When an authorized representative is attending, they should bring a letter of authorization. Bidders are further informed that the Procurement Board reserves the right to change the required quantities of goods at the time of placing orders.
