Tenders are invited for Procurement of Supplying Wood Free Papers or White Printing Papers for 2026 School Exams and Other Exams. Bid Security: LKR. 1200000. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 27/03/2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the on Department of Examinations. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Commissioner General of Examinations, Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, Pelawatta, Battaramulla from 20/03/2026 until 08/04/2026 from 09.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 23,000.00 for the document (The method of payment will be by cash). Bid shall be valid for 91 days (until 09/07/2026). All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Sri Lankan Rupees One Million Two Hundred Thousand (LKR. 1,200,000.00), unconditional bank guarantee from a reputed commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka on the format attached to the bidding documents and should be valid for 119 days (until 06/08/2026) from the date of closing of bids. Bids must be delivered to the Supply Division, 03rd Floor, Department of Examinations, Pelawatta, Battaramulla on or before 09/04/2026 at 2.30 p.m. filled and sealed Bids (two copies) marked "Supply Wood Free or White Printing Papers, Contract No.: 4/3/21/2026" on top left hand corner of the envelope should be submitted. The Department Procurement Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and reject all Bids at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder or Bidders of the grounds for the Department Procurement Committees action.
