The Acr Trail, Running East Of Taylor Drive Between 32 Street And 43 Street, Was Originally Constructed In The Mid-1980’S During Expansion Of The Waskasoo Park System. To Facilitate Pathway Construction And Retain A Cut Slope, Two Timber Post And Plank Retaining Walls Were Installed. These Walls Are Now At The End Of Their Service Life, With Widespread Rot And Rotation Present. The City Is Planning To Replace The North Wall With An Architectural/Double Twist Gabion Retaining Wall System And Replace The South Wall With A Buried Concrete Lock Block Wall And Granular Shear Key.
