Metsähallitus, Eräpalvelut Will Build An Approximately 71 Kilometer Long Forest Deer Fence In The Provinces Of Pohjois-Ostrobothnia And Kainuu In Accordance With This Request For Tenders And The Attached Material. The Fence Will Be Located In The Area Of The City Of Oulu And The Municipalities Of Utajärvi And Puolanga. The Fence Is Called The Pohjois-Ostrobothnia Forest Deer Fence. The Purpose Of The Fence Is To Protect The Forest Deers Inheritance By Preventing The Crossing Of Forest Deer And Reindeer. For The Construction Of The Fence, A 5 M Wide Fence Opening Has Been Made In The Terrain. This Is A Total Contract And The Contract Complies With The General Contract Conditions Of The Construction Contract Yse 1998 (Rt 16–10660). The Selected Contractor Acts As The Main Contractor And The Main Implementer As Defined By The Legislation. The Contractor Is Subject To The Obligations Referred To In § 1 - § 4 Of The Yse If Nothing Else Is Mentioned In The Request For Tender Or In The Material Attached To It. The General Responsibility For Occupational Safety Rests With The General Contractor And The General Contractor Is Responsible For Appointing The Safety Coordinator (And Its Costs). The Work Can Start On May 15, 2026 Or When The Procurement Decision Is Legally Binding And The Procurement Contract Has Been Signed. The Contract Must Be Completed By 30 November 2027. 56 Km Of The Work Must Be Completed By 30 November 2026. Adherence To The Schedule Is Necessary, Because The Budget For The Project Is Tied To The Dates Indicated Above. Fence Posts, Wire And Netting Have Been Procured By The Client And Delivered To Ten (10) Storage Locations Near The Route To Be Built For The Forest Road Network. The Procurement Of Other Materials Needed In The Contract, Such As Special Structures And Fastening Accessories, Is The Contractors Responsibility.
